Mak went for Umrah witn Mak Da & Abg Taha

Alhamdulilah, mak selamat left for umrah with Mak Da and Abg Taha petang semalam. We were there since 2.20pm. They went in a group. Mak Su and Pak Anjang and family were also there. Mak will be back on the 7th. Hopefully next time she goes for umrah, i can come along too. Insyaallah. Let's doa for mak to have a mabrur umrah and come home safely.

I'm just gonna summarize quickly the happenings for the past few days. The pictures of Allysya and my hubby were taken on our Bangsar outing the nite before i left for Penang. We uncovered this new cafe by chance 
It's called Marmalade!! It's at Bangsar Village II (the new place). It's got some nice stuff on the menu. Do try their chocolate brownies with ice-cream...delicious....must try !!!!

In Penang!! Me, PK Chu and Shirley we drove up to our site office in Penang. So i left Allysya with hubby for one nite. We stayed at the Northam all suites. Before we went out for dinner, sempat ambik photo bilik lagi (boy, i must have been really bored??  )
We had dinner at Northam Cafe. Was too tired to walk to Gurney Drive. So jln kaki to Northam cafe. The only 2 things yg halal were sate and pasembur. So i settled for pasembur. Penat sangat that nite. Tidur pun nyenyak...zzzzz

This entry is supposed to come before the previous, as this happened on 20/4 midnite. However, Vic just uploaded this to her Truprint account, and i was lazy to edit the dates. So here u go...us, relaxed and laid back mood at Ara Damansara on Friday. I received my birthday presents on that nite.

I got the Calvin Klein handbag in patent white leather and Habib Jewel Gold Bracelet( i dah upload ) from my hubby earlier. So that nite, i got a pair of gold earrings from Poh Kong as a present from Mak, Chamat and Ya. The best part is that it matches the bracelet that my hubby gave to me!!! Thanks guys!!!
They also gave me 4 metres of lovely pastel Korean Silk from Euro Moda.  Jimat duit beli baju!!! Vic gave me Dior Addict plastic gloss in Edgy Rosewood ( i absolutely love this thing!!!). My office mates gave me Agate jewellery set (thanks guys..fabulous!!)
My mom in law, gave via Pyan a Bohemia Vase (tak da photo la). And yesterday my mom called to tell me that i still got a few presents yet to be picked from Ara Damansara from Mak Su... Thanks very much Mak Su.
Tengok lah tu gambar we all dgn pyjamas at mid nite, tak glam langsung kan? Make up does wonders kan ? 
Oh well, that all for now folks, the end of the birthday edition. I'm gonna be away in Penang this Thursday and Friday. So i'll c u guys later!!!

It's my birthday-31 today!!

Hello everyone!!! Sorry lambat sikit the birthday entry ni...banyak activities last weekend, it was definitely a happening weekend!!!
The birthday entry ni pun i have to do by installment, coz some photos are with Vic. The ones i have uploaded today are from my Canon. The ones with the birthday presents are in Vic's camera.
First and foremost, i nak thank my husband, for a very lovely birthday, right from the presents down to the dinner, it was lovely darling!!! Also my love and thanks to Mak, Chamat, Ya, Adik and Vic who gave me lovely presents and made me felt on top of the world on my birthay!!!  Also thanks to everyone who came to the dinner. Here is a bouquet of flowers for u guys!!! 
On 21/4, in the morning, Yati held a birthday party for her son Farid at Mc Donald's Taman Connaught. It was Farid's 5th birthday. Little Miss Allysya fyi, won Best Dressed... She wore her Guess denim dress, with her pink wings and pink hair band (dia yg nak pakai the wings tu..) The whole Phileo office gang was there.
After the Mc Donald's party my hubby and i spent a good few hours menguruskan hal-hal business we all. Pheww..by the time we got home, we were exhausted..malam nak dinner lagi... 
At 7pm my hubby and i dah mula kelam kabut nak pi dinner. U see, this dinner was supposed to be a suprise for me kat TGIF. Initially planned at Ara Damansara, but due to my father and mom in law yg tak attend, my hubby did not want me to be upset, so he changed the venue to TGIF!!!
So that nite everyone except Ann & Puja and Mama & Babah were there at TGIF, Subang Parade 
The evening started off well, we all had lovely dinners, i had the cheapest meal i think , i'm not much of a dinner eater, so i settled for just TGIF Famous Burger Yummy!!! Most of them had Ribeye Steak and Lamb Chop Sedapnya lamb!!! We had a good time 
There were many birthdays there that nite, no less than 5 birthdays i think!! Came the cake cutting time, i was really nervous..budak-budak ni kenakan aku...i was made to stand up on the chair the whole time the TGIF crew were there for cake cutting, i chose the backward version of Friday's birthday song, lagi worse (bad decision) they turned their back to the crowd and sang for me!! U could imagine the whole restaurant was practically looking at me on the chair. As we had the most entourage with us, and seated in the middle of the restaurant pulak tu..so naturally my birthday song la yang paling kecoh dan meriah Malunya i!!! 
Oh my birthday cake was Chocolate Mint Cake from Vanilla Box kat Heritage Row (courtesy of Chamat). Thanks love.

Hihi..time flies, and tomorrow ( 21/4) i will be sweet 31!!! Dah tua dah, age je tua, lain-lain muda lagi!! This year, for Dragons it's supposed to be a good year (according to the Chinese calender). I sure hope so!!
So for my birthday, i'm wishing for : good health, good wealth, career advancement, to complete my CPA by this year and happiness for me and my family!!! (banyak nya wishes, aren't they supposed to be secret?? ) Oh well, these are general wishes je....

As i'm writing this, i am currently at home, alone - sick!!!  I have got this bad cough which is really irritating and close to no voice. I have not been feeling well, the whole of last week. So it was not a particularly good week.
So let's see, i'm now hooked on some games on my dopod...err me? main games??  , yup its true, plus i have not gotten past chapter 1 of my Knowledge Management  and kadang-kadang i curi-curi baca my Sophie Kinsella's - Shopaholic and Baby ( i just managed to buy last week...so kadang2 curi2 baca)
Last Friday i bought this nice homemade chocolate brownies. Semua orang cakap sedap, i actually terjumpa this nice thing kat Petronas Jalan Damansara. Lepas tu rasa cam sedap, and i order thru the phone no on the pack. Trust me to do this kind of things!!!  Sape yg selalu past that Petronas, cuba try the homemade brownies tau!!!
On Sat, i did not go anywhere special, apart from the fact that i was not feeling well, i also did some studying. Saturday nite, we went to my in-laws and actually got down to watching The Akademi Fantasia thing with them  - I thought it was dead boring, not to mention that Dek Na's clothes were not right for her performance...and later she got kicked out!!! Abah was most dissappointed he was rooting for her!!!
Enough said, on Sunday, my hubby, lil Allysya and i went to the Curve. We got tired of KLCC and 1 Utama and decided to hang out at the The Curve yesterday. We had our brunch at PHOP (Paddington House of Pancake..yummy!!!) I had a sweet pancake- tak ingat nama dah, it had bananas, strawberries, ice cream, peaches, almond flakes....sedapp and my hubby had a savoury pancake - chicken, hash brown, cheese...i tak sempat nak rasa pun...dia dah balun sorang!!! (mesti ok la tu)
My hubby suprised me when he took me to Habib Jewels, suruh i pilih anything for my birthday, within the budget that he gave to me!! I was really excited, the last time he got gold for me was last year!!! SO as usual, i akan memilih a chain bracelet...i actually wanted an anklet, but it all comes with loceng and he said its noisy!! So i chose another bracelet....Nanti i upload...
What else did i get hmm let me see:
1. A dress from MNG
2. A dress from Naf Naf
3. A halter top from Naf Naf
4. A new pair of pants from Naf Naf
(ini pun dah cukup to break my bank tahu je lah prices kat Naf Naf tu camana, a dress pun dah RM259) 
After that i saw a few pieces yg i suka kat Calvin Klein jeans, but after spending soo much at Naf Naf...kesian pulak suami ku.....next time ok 
Oh also i went to Tribeca - they had things on sale, members get an additional 10% on certain things, did not get anything from there though coz i was not in the mood for high maintenance clothes (ie: dry cleaning, silk and chiffon). And Put, yes i did go to Uluwatu, it was just a few doors away from Tribeca - yup, its got Balinese blouses in white and black, quite nice, quite reasonable....its just that i think the white kebaya that i suka tu, lagi elaborate and fine in the detailing of the sulam, kat sini more simple...but hey, its well worth any girl's time to give it a try. Maybe next trip, i'll get something from Uluwatu.

Hospital Week-Pantai Medical Centre

As u all know, my brother sustained a knee injury a few weeks ago. So last Thursday 5th April, he went for the ACL operation (i hope i got it right??) Acute Cruciate Ligament...Boy, when i saw him on the Thursday, he looked like he was in real pain. I thot, sikit je, tapi kesian sgt pulak tgk keadaan dia. His eyes were droopy, due to the pain killers, and he was itching all over, another side effect of the pain killer.
The next day, on Friday, i tgk condition dia dah much improved from the previous day. Yesterday (Sunday) pun dah boleh guna the wheel chair. he wont be able to walk for a few months and has to undergo physio every day. Kesian, not to mention drive...patah kaki la mamat ni....
Those are the reasons for my silence....sibuk dgn kerja, business, study dan ke hospital. My exam date has been finalised. It's on the 8th of May.... ngeri betul, as i seem to not be getting the hand of Knowledge Management yet (my subject this sem) Still very blur.... (haiya..macam tak biasa kan Yang!!! ahakss)
Hopefully my brother dah discharged la this afternoon...boring dok hospital lama-lama kan??

Ahhh, my bro finally came back from Singapore. U see, after his US trip, he immediately went back to Singapore, where he is based now. So i had waited a total of 3 weeks for my new bag to arrive.
I was the most excited, as i ordered the most things... Tak sabor-sabor tunggu dia balik. Look at my Legacy shoulder bag...cantik tak? On the web, the price is USD378 (RM1323), taxes about 8% so, USD30.24, so the total: USD408.24. In RM that would be about RM1428.84. Guess how much it costs here??? A whopping RM2225 kat Coach, KLCC and u have to put up with the unfriendly and uninitiated Coach staff.  Macam langit dgn bumi compared to their US counterpart.
So in a nutshell, 1 bag in Malaysia, can get me a bag and a pair of shoes in US. I got my Addisyn slides for USD168. Matching sgttt with my Legacy bag. Tengok photo bawah for my lovely Addisyn slides....
On top of that, i got the stuff that i want from Benefit at Sephora. My bro bought me the Benetint (USD28), Lemon Aid (USD18), Eye Con (USD28) and 10 (USD26). The Eye Con in KL is RM145, and so is Benetint. Murah lagi kan....
Btw, according to Benefit, Eye Con's "Product Description:

I just read GLAM mag, yesterday and chanced on this new Cole Haan handbag. I just love it!!! Rasa tak sabar pulak nak pi the Cole Haan boutique and have a look. Who knows, i might want it bad enough to own it!!! Anyhow, this is way more affordable than the other bags that i dream of having!!
Handbags to me have become more of passion and addiction. There is no obsesession like one for handbags or shoes. I quote Natasha Kraal, Harpers Bazaar "addictions are only as good as the last hit." Yes,i agree!! This obesession for handbags and also shoes can never be satisfied or satiated. Once u have great bag, u will one another!! Trust me!! Ahhh, this is a bag that i am still dreaming of getting. This 50 years old classic was recently given a facelift by Karl Lagerfed (hence the charms). Last i checked, the price was more than RM6000. Chanel bags always leaves me gasping for air, when i check their price tags. But they are the ultimate bags

Weekend Without Little Allysya

Hello folks!! Sorry for the silence. Been busy. Business has been very good, work pun melambakkkk. And last Friday my brother was warded due to torn ligament caused by a squash injury and made worse by a fall he had in his ofice on the Friday itself. He was sent to Assunta Hospital and hospitalised. So our usual Friday nite get together took place in the hospital instead.
Last Saturday, little Allysya stayed with her Wan (grandma) at Ara Damansara, so my hubby and i had our time alone. Hihihi...sekali-sekala ok gak...On Sat nite, we went to Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman's pasar malam. Nothing much to see or buy (well at least for me), so we had laksa and some satay a a stall. The laksa was superb.
After that we went to my in-laws house in Kelana Jaya. And ended up watching Akademi Fantasi ha..ha.. well i kinda like the Dafi. He is sooo cute la, no wonder girls are crazy over him. He has that little charm la. Ha..ha...
On Sunday, after my hubby's usual Nasi Lemak Cikgu, we headed for KLCC. It's been a few weeks since i last came here. This week is a must coz i wanted to go to Isetan 3 days SALE. Isetan always have this 3 days thing every now and then. Mama (my mom in law) got me the Bobbi Brown on Friday. Awal2 lagi dah beli coz i tau by the time Sunday dah tak da dah the Bobbi Brown set. True enough, according to the sales girl, it went out of stock after a few hours (semua org kiasu betull la!!!)
A true shopaholic indeed!! He...he..
Wah, without Allysya, we had a whale of a time shopping!!!!!! There were loads of nice things to see and buy!!! Got myself a whole lot of things:-
1.1 Naf Naf Top
2. 2 Sisley Tops (These were on 50% at Parkson)
3. 3 hair bands from Evita Peroni (These were absolutel mahal gilerrr, tapi sebab dah suka, and i need hair bands)
4. 1 Benetton baby-t (These were on 50% at Parkson)
And the BesTesT thing of all... my darling hubby got me a Ck (Calvin Klein) handbag. These were new range at Isetan. It's a perforated patent leather in white. Cantikkk sesangat, he had to buy it on the day itself coz it was on 10% discount. So i dapat la birthday present awal. My birthday is in April...he..he... If i had my way, i would have chosen a "francesco biasia" handbag, tapi mahal sangat ler about RM2100 for the silver patent leather...(considering the fact that i will be getting my Coach from my bro soonnnn)

After about 4 hours at KLCC we headed home, but not before we had our tea at La Cucur ( ni pun tempat favourite gak kat KLCC). Sampai rumahI sempat posing-posing with my new hair accesories at home. See small photos down there ha..ha..
Malam we went for dinner at Mak's house and after that went to see my poor bro at Assunta.
And coming back to hair accessories, if u all nak tgk camana the hair accesoories that i sell actually look like, pegi ke Parkson, KLCC. They sell exactly the same thing there. Those that i sell for RM28, they sell at RM49.90. So its much cheaper to get it from me...Same quality and absolutely gorgeous tau!!! The only thing that i don't have is hair bands, thats why i had to get them from Evita Peroni.
